Bożena posiada tytuł doktora nauk rolniczych i od 12 lat jest wykładowcą na Uniwersytecie Rolniczym w Krakowie.

W ramach projektu RU:RBAN zdobyła tytuł gardenizera. Prowadzi szkolenia dla liderów ogrodów społecznych i współpracuje z Zarządem Zieleni Miejskiej w Krakowie, angażując się w projekt Krakowskie Ogrody Społeczne oraz Ogród z Klasą. Jej celem jest inspirowanie dzieci, i społeczności lokalnej poprzez aktywne angażowanie się w świat roślin i ogrodów. Jest zafascynowana terapeutycznym potencjałem ogrodnictwa.

Bozena has a PhD in Agricultural Science and has been a lecturer at the University of Agriculture in Krakow for 11 years. She was trained as a ‘gardenizer’ within the RU:RBAN project. Currently, she trains the leaders of community gardens and works with the Krakow Municipal Greenspace Authority, being happy to develop the community garden program along with the school garden program.  She is a driving force of getting school children and their local communities actively involved with plants and gardens. She fascinated by therapeutic power of gardening.
